Who are we?
After having spent over 15 years designing events for luxury fashion and beauty brands, I moved my studio to the heart of the flower district on 28th Street in NYC. The walk to work every morning is the most inspirational part of my day. I'm taking what I'm accustomed to with my lifestyle events and flowers and turning them into arrangements available to everyone.
I met Lauren in 2018 and it was a match made in heaven. Lauren brings years of floral design experience to PJCP and PJC FLWRS. She uniquely pairs a knack for operationalizing structures with a background rooted in visual arts to bring freshness and luxe, personal touches to all of our florals. An attention to quality and education means that Lauren personally trains every member of the team from intern-level up on both the technical and creative elements of floral design.
We are Eco-Conscious!
Our flower arrangements are now completely foam-free. In Patrick’s view, this step was necessary as floral foam does not biodegrade and is composed of known carcinogens. While we spend a bit more on labor now and our engineering of floral walls and structures has required some chicken wire and added creativity, as a company we are proud of this transition.
PJC is striving to be an eco-leader in the industry by cutting back on event waste, relying less on disposable materials, repurposing structures, and incorporating sustainable items at every level of production.
These steps, along with the production of our fully biodegradable mailer boxes, are just the start.
